At the 24th Shanghai International Lubricants & Application Technology Exhibition and Shanghai International Metalworking Fluids & Surface Cleaning Exhibition, Shenzhen Hecheng Lubricating Materials Co., Ltd. showcased 40 of its products in a centralized manner, fully demonstrating its R&D achievements and systematic solutions in the field of specialty lubricants.

01 Deeply Engaged in Core Track: Deploying Lubrication Application Upgrades in the Automotive Sector

Shenzhen Hecheng Lubricating Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hecheng Lube"), founded in 1994, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, sales and service of high-grade specialty eco-friendly lubricants (oils and greases). Its products have passed multiple eco-friendly standard certifications from the EU and the US, and it enjoys high prestige and a good reputation in China's lubricant (oil and grease) industry. 

Hecheng Lube has always adhered to a market-oriented approach, building its product system around industries such as auto parts, 3C electronics, precision bearings, and mechanical & electrical equipment, with a particular focus on the development of the auto parts segment.

With the rapid development of the lubricant industry, end customers' choices of lubrication products have shifted from "usable" to "easy to use, applicable, and eco-friendly"—this has also put forward higher requirements for products in terms of basic performance, environmental attributes, and biodegradability. Manager Tang stated, "In terms of environmental friendliness and biodegradability, whether products can meet the requirements of current laws, regulations and environmental policies will be some of the issues that lubricant enterprises will face next."

02 Green & Safe in Parallel: Building a New Benchmark for Food-Grade Lubricants

With the increasingly diverse application fields of lubricating greases, environmental friendliness and safety have become new trends. As a high-potential business segment in the future, food-grade lubricating greases are also the development focus of Hecheng Lube's strategic layout. 

Manager Tang of Hecheng Lube stated in the interview, "Food-grade lubricating greases are the focus of the company's upcoming business development. Currently, China's certification system for food-grade lubricating greases is still relatively lax. Relying solely on qualification certificates issued by third parties as the certification basis makes it difficult to achieve product safety and controllability at the source. We should implement management and control in terms of production environment, limit control, and testing mechanisms, and establish a more systematic and scientific standard system for food-grade lubricating greases."

It is reported that Hecheng Lube is jointly drafting relevant group standards with the Beijing Food Machinery Association to support the standardized development of the industry, and the standards have now entered the trial operation phase. In the future, these standards are expected to provide clear guidance for key links such as the production, testing and certification of food-grade lubricating grease products in the industry, and enhance the market trust and recognition of domestic lubricating greases in food-related applications.

03 Consolidate R&D Foundation: Build a New High Ground for Product Performance

In the process of promoting the continuous optimization of product performance, Hecheng Lube has always adhered to technology-first, continuously increased investment in R&D resources, and steadily advanced the iterative upgrading of its product system, process flow and testing capabilities. In terms of technological R&D, Hecheng Lube is advancing manufacturing upgrades from lithium soap-based to complex lithium soap-based, polyurea-based and complex barium-based formulas. It is also iterating on the application of various special types of thickeners and production processes, committed to building a stable and efficient reserve of product technologies.

In terms of laboratory capability development, Hecheng Lube leverages its advantages as a manufacturing enterprise to continuously enhance the improvement of testing equipment and experimental systems. "Currently, Hecheng Lube is applying for the qualification of CNAS National Accredited Laboratory, and it is expected to complete the application process in July or August this year," Manager Tang pointed out in the interview. "As a manufacturing enterprise, we must have the capability to test the performance of our own products." This will provide strong technical support for the company's product development and quality control.

Currently, domestic brands are embracing an unprecedented development opportunity, and Hecheng Lube believes that the market for specialty lubricating greases will grow increasingly broader in the future.
