Vietnam is recognized as the world's third-largest exporter of garments, with clothing exports accounting for 16% of the country's total exports in 2017. Vietnamese clothing and textile products are exported to 180 countries and regions worldwide, with the garment manufacturing industry accounting for 70% of the country's total industry business. The main markets for Vietnam's textile and garment products are the United States, Europe, Japan, as well as South Korea.
It is predicted that Vietnam's textile and garment industry will achieve the highest growth rate in the next 12 years, with an estimated industry growth rate of 14% in the next two years and a further 10% growth by 2030.
2. Vietnam's Footwear and Bags Export Situation

The data indicates that Vietnam's leather footwear and bags industry is exhibiting strong performance and possesses significant growth potential in the future.
3. Investment in Vietnam's Textile Market
With the continuous rise in labor costs in China, the advantage of low labor costs in Vietnam has become apparent. Additionally, Vietnam's participation in multiple free trade agreements has created opportunities for domestic enterprises to diversify their export markets. Therefore, many companies have joined the wave of investment in Vietnam's textile and garment industry, seeking new business opportunities.
According to Vu Duc Giang, Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), since Vietnam opened its doors to foreign investors, the textile and garment industry has attracted over 2,000 investors from 16 countries and regions around the world, with investment capital reaching 15.747 billion US dollars.
Today, international renowned apparel and footwear companies such as Adidas, Nike, and Puma have set up contract manufacturing factories in Vietnam. Chinese companies such as Bosideng Oriental, Luthai Textile, Shenzhou International, as well as Jiansheng Group have also achieved capacity growth in Vietnam's textile market.
Visiting the Vietnam Market —— A Realistic Sharing
In August, with the aim of conducting an in-depth investigation into the current state of Vietnam's textile printing market and fostering stronger connections for domestic companies and investors, the organizer of the Vietnam Textile Printing Industrial Technology Exhibition, Hong Kong Allall Information Media Group Limited, traveled to Vietnam. They embarked on on-site visits and meetings with several local textile, apparel, as well as printing companies, delving into the intricacies of their production and business operations.
During the visit, which coincided with Vietnam's rainy season, the staff tirelessly traveled to major textile industrial areas. We were pleased and surprised to find that when we introduced ourselves and stated our purpose, many companies mentioned that they had heard of "Allall Information" and were familiar with our position as a professional platform for printing exhibitions and a specialized media for printing information. They had also visited our printing exhibitions held in Vietnam and domestically. It seems that the influence of Allall Information has been growing overseas.
Back to the main point, August and September are traditionally the low season for the Vietnamese textile market. However, local manufacturers told us that their order volumes have been stable this year and have even grown compared to previous years. We also witnessed the factories bustling with production activities. The business during the low season has already been on the rise, so what about the peak season? The answer is that a considerable number of Vietnamese factories have an average monthly processing capacity of 800,000 to 1.2 million pieces of shoe materials and garments. During peak periods, they are often overwhelmed with orders.
Regarding the market trend in Vietnam, the locals are very optimistic. They believe that there is still significant room for development in the Vietnamese textile market, especially the clothing market. To cope with the steadily increasing order volume, various types of printing machines with higher production efficiency have become a necessary choice for Vietnamese clothing and shoe material factories.
We found that elliptical printing machines and digital direct-to-garment printers from Chinese brands have already been applied in production by many Vietnamese factories, such as Bi Hong, Rugao Tianyuan, Shunxin, Ouyue, as well as Fanda. The locals pointed out that Chinese printing equipment has the advantage of both quality and price, with stable performance and high cost-effectiveness. Thanks to the superior geographical location, maintenance and after-sales service for the machines can be done in a timely manner, resulting in excellent service. Therefore, they hold a high opinion of Chinese printing equipment.
They admitted that they are still in the stage of "feeling their way across the river" and have limited knowledge of Chinese printing machines. Therefore, they hope that more Chinese companies will bring excellent equipment and materials to Vietnam through exhibitions and other platforms. They will participate and make purchases to meet production needs.
At the same time, we learned that Vietnam's environmental policies are becoming increasingly strict. Local manufacturers are hoping for guidance from experienced Chinese companies on energy-saving and emission reduction operations and have shown a strong interest in digital printing equipment.
Upon learning that the 2018 Vietnam International Printing Exhibition is scheduled for November 28 to December 1, they expressed that this is the perfect opportunity for them to purchase equipment for their plans in the new year. Local well-known companies such as Sanxin Holdings, Vietnam Tianhe, Huaxin Laser, as well as Jieruike have also indicated their participation. Wang, the CEO of Sanxin Holdings (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., emphasized his confidence in the Vietnamese textile and garment market. With over 26 years deeply cultivating Vietnam's textile and apparel industry, he looks forward to more Chinese companies investing in Vietnam and cooperating with them.
In addition to printing equipment, the market for related textile accessories and materials in Vietnam has also experienced an upward trend. Domestic material suppliers such as Xinyi and Kedo recognize the potential of the Vietnamese market and state that participating in the Vietnam International Printing Exhibition to expand their market is one of their key tasks going forward.
Review of Previous Vietnam International Textile Printing Exhibition: Professionalism and Success

The Vietnam International Textile Printing Exhibition in 2016 and 2017 served as a professional showcase for printing equipment and materials. It provided a broad platform for Chinese and other regional enterprises to promote their products in the Southeast Asian market. Many companies have regarded the annual Vietnam International Textile Printing Exhibition as an important channel for expanding their presence in this market.
In addition to celebrating their business achievements, exhibitors expressed appreciation for the thoughtful arrangements made by the organizers. Even for those participating for the first time in Vietnam, there is no need to harbor concerns about language barriers. With the development of Vietnam's economy, the conditions in Ho Chi Minh City, where the exhibition is held, including transportation and security, rival those of first-tier cities in China.
It is worth mentioning that Hong Kong Allall Information Media Group Limited has 13 years of experience organizing professional printing exhibitions in China (Guangzhou International Printing Exhibition) and is familiar with the development of the domestic and international printing markets. This is undoubtedly a powerful backing for Allall Information to build a bridge for business discussions between China and overseas.
