The third Vietnam International Textile and Printing Industry Technology Exhibition (VITPE) was successfully held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from November 28 to December 1, 2018.

2018VITPE: More Organzied, More Profound

Vietnam, an important country along the Belt and Road, has maintained a relatively rapid pace of GDP growth in the past twenty years, with an average growth rate of around 6.5%. Domestic demand continues to grow, and foreign investment in Vietnam has also been rising year by year. In addition, Vietnam has a young labor force and has significant advantages in textile manufacturing, foreign trade, and other areas.

The Vietnamese textile market has huge potential, so as early as 2016, Hong Kong Allallinfo Media Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Allallinfo") responded to the national "Belt and Road" call and co-hosted the Vietnam International Printing Exhibition with the Vietnamese authorities, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Vietnam National Advertising Exhibition Company. This year marks the third VITPE.

Over the past three years, the organizers have adhered to the principle of "exploring new markets, seizing new opportunities, and creating a new future." Based on the latest trends in the Vietnamese textile market, it has built a professional platform for textile printing exhibition, exchange and trade for China, Vietnam, and even other ASEAN countries.

Representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam attended the opening ceremony of the Exhibition, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and spoke highly of the important role VITPE plays in promoting the development of the Vietnamese textile market. They said that VITPE is constantly injecting new vitality into the Vietnamese textile printing market. They encouraged all participating enterprises to seize the opportunity of "VITPE" to further improve their professional technical level, strengthen innovation, and achieve win-win cooperation between Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises.

With the careful preparation of the organizers and exhibitors, the audience enjoyed a colorful printing feast. According to data statistics analysis, VITPE audiences mainly come from Vietnam and some neighboring countries such as Cambodia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. Exhibitors and audiences gathered together, and the atmosphere was very active.

This year's VITPE was more organized and had a more profound impact. The exhibition focused on the Vietnamese market and leveraged its resource advantages to establish an efficient communication, sales, and promotion platform for the textile printing industry. It deepened the cooperation between textile and garment factories and printing equipment and materials suppliers, greatly promoted the docking of resources between China and Vietnam, promoted Chinese brands to the world, brought fresh blood to the Vietnamese textile market, and also marked that Allallinfo has made further progress in opening up overseas markets.

A Myriad of Participating Brands

The exhibition was full of excitement, with a series of new technologies, models, equipment and processes making their debut, attracting widespread attention.

M&R, one of the world's largest manufacturers of digital and screen printing equipment, showcased its clothing direct-to-garment digital printing machines and elliptical digital integrated printing systems. M&R demonstrated the machine operation process and the exquisite printing effects on site, attracting a large number of spectators to stop and watch and exchange.

NKT, a leading supplier of digital printing equipment and technology in China, has brought new digital printing solutions to the Vietnamese market, including single-pass and scanner application solutions. These solutions have sparked strong interest from the Vietnamese market, which is traditionally dominated by traditional textile printing solutions.

The elliptical+digital printing machine from Guangdong Aces Machinery Co., Ltd. provided a perfect combination of digital printing and traditional screen printing applications, which was warmly received at the exhibition site. It is understood that Bihong has accumulated a number of loyal customers in Vietnam as a participant of VITPE for three consecutive years.

Tianyuan Printing from Rugao City, China exhibited TYSL series automatic elliptical printing machines and TYSL-W series automatic flatbed printing machines. The products have the characteristics of high positioning accuracy, high stability, and convenient operation, which won the high praise of the audience.

Hongyin (Guangzhou) Color Printing Equipment Co., Ltd. is a leading supplier of UV printing solutions in China, focusing on UV printing. Visitors witnessed the innovative strength of Hongyin UV flatbed printer-HY2513.

Guangzhou Leading New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has always been committed to the research, development, application, promotion and sales of digital inkjet technology. At the exhibition, it provides customers with high-quality, cost-effective ink products and one-stop digital printing solutions.

Through vivid on-site printing, South Korean INK ECO （ S-LAND CO.,LTD） ink effectively demonstrated the quality of the ink and the various processes it is suitable for. Customers came for consultation in an endless stream.

The booth of BPG Japan is designed very cleverly, with colorful and eye-catching printing effects of its high-end heat transfer ink. Therefore, BPG's booth is always bustling with activity.

Dongguan Kedo Silicone Materials Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D and production of liquid and printed silicone. It brought printed silicone, heat transfer silicone and supporting materials from China, and customized product solutions for customers on the spot.

Zhejiang Guangyintong New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a new type of enterprise that mainly produces heat transfer consumables and auxiliary processing. The various PVC and PU engraving films exhibited by the company have a delicate hand feel, good elasticity, and bright printing colors, all of which have received unanimous praise.

Dongguan Youkai（Unitech) Industrial Co.,Ltd. in Guangdong, is the first company in China to mass-produce silicone leather. Their ecological and environmentally friendly silicone leather has excellent quality, including water resistance, fire resistance, insulation, acid and alkali resistance, hydrolysis resistance, wear resistance, and scratch resistance. It also includes a variety of different properties (stickiness, oiliness, and dry touch), patterns, and thicknesses (0.6-2.0mm), which have been recognized by the audience.

Taishan Hongke Printing Materials Co., Ltd. has advanced testing instruments and production equipment to ensure the quality of its printing materials, such as printing paste, printing solid paste, and PTF thickener. People can also fully experience the comfort, softness, and elasticity of its printing on site.

Refinetop from China, Guangdong focuses on the R&D of high-quality printing materials and provides one-stop after-sales service and various printing process solutions for a wide range of printing customers. Their environmentally friendly products, such as soft elastic machine (hand) printing paste, compatible digital inkjet primer (full set), simulated digital four-color water-based ink (mesh), and silk cotton/silicone cloth glue, are attracting attention in Vietnam, where environmental protection is becoming stricter.

Every company showcased their cuuting-edge technologies, solutions, and products. They earned respects from spectators by their own high-quality services, innvative capacity, and solid products.

Beyond showcasing their competitive products, many exhibitors sought to establish fruitful partnerships in Vietnam. Eager to expand their reach, they expressed interest in connecting with agents and distributors, offering tailored collaboration models and dedicated after-sales support to build mutually beneficial relationships.

In fact, some exhibitors have already begun to implement a "Going Out" strategy, relocating their industries to northern Vietnam (close to Ho Chi Minh City). They believe that Vietnam has a number of advantages over China, including lower electricity costs, labor costs, taxes, and labor laws. Additionally, Vietnam's membership in the CPTPP trade agreement provides it with additional trade opportunities. These factors suggest that Vietnam's textile market has a bright future.

A number of exhibitors noted that China's textile industry has a major advantage: a complete supply chain. Under the "Belt and Road" initiative, China can transfer its textile industry to Vietnam, helping to develop local businesses and the Vietnamese market. This could even be seen as a form of industrial diplomacy, strengthening ties between China and Vietnam.

Activities after Exhibition——Visiting Local Factories

In order to further achieve resource matching and promote mutual exchanges and learning between Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises, the organizer organized the VITPE exhibitors to visit the local state-owned enterprise, Vietnam 32 Joint Stock Company (CÔNG TY CỔ PHẦN 32) on the afternoon of December 1. Vietnam 32 Joint Stock Company is mainly engaged in the processing and trade of clothing, footwear, luggage, and hats. It is one of the most influential textile and garment enterprises in Vietnam and is also the designated processing plant for the Vietnamese military.

Visitors were impressed by the scale and efficiency of Vietnam 32 Joint Stock Company's factory. They were able to see firsthand how the production lines operate and learn about the company's printing technology. They also had the opportunity to discuss potential cooperation opportunities with company representatives.

Vietnam 32 Joint Stock Company is planning to expand its factory scale and meet production demand by purchasing relevant products. They are also looking to strengthen their relationships with fabric suppliers, material suppliers, and equipment manufacturers. Additionally, they welcome more Chinese enterprises to invest in Vietnam and take advantage of the country's favorable government policies.

Visitors to the event gave it high praise, saying that they had a fruitful experience.
