2. EXHIBITION INTRODUCTION
As one of China’s most prominent textile and garment industrial clusters, Xiliu Town sits at a strategic hub linking coastal southern Liaoning with inland Northeast China. Within the radiation scope of Shenyang, Dalian and Yingkou Pilot Free Trade Zones, it serves as a vital gateway on the northern Belt and Road trans-Eurasian freight routes: Liaoning-Inner Mongolia-Europe and Liaoning-Manzhouli-Europe. Covering 64.12 square kilometres, the town has a steady daily floating population of 80,000–100,000. It is a nationally renowned commercial town thriving on market trade.
In 2024, the transaction volume of Xiliu’s garment industrial cluster exceeded RMB 900.6 billion, rising 12% year-on-year. Logistics turnover hit RMB 627.5 billion with cargo throughput of 1.147 million tonnes. The supporting Xiliu Logistics Park operates 532 established routes covering most provinces across China. The e-commerce sector maintains robust growth; online turnover reached RMB 271 billion in 2024, a 23% year-on-year increase and far surpassing the RMB 132 billion recorded in 2020. Emerging formats including live-streaming and cross-border e-commerce have become new drivers of industrial growth. With expanding global influence, Xiliu Market exported goods to over 120 countries and regions in 2024, evolving from a Northeast supply base into a global procurement centre and a key gateway for Haicheng’s opening up.
Hosted at Xiliu China Garment Trade City, the 2026 China (Northeast) International Textile, Clothing and Printing Industry Expo upholds three commitments: attracting more professional buyers, expanding exhibitor scale and delivering better show results. Leveraging Xiliu’s strong industrial momentum and the clustered development trend of textile, garment, printing, embroidery and dyeing sectors, the expo creates an efficient full-industry-chain platform for exhibition, communication and trading. It will further amplify the outreach of Xiliu’s industrial cluster and advance high-quality development of the textile and garment industry across Northeast China.
