International Seamless Textile and Apparel Industry Technology Exhibition
Exhibition News
Uzbekistan, the world’s 6th largest cotton-producing country, is gradually emerging as a prime investment destination in the textile and garment industry, thanks to its abundant cotton output, low energy costs, and policy support. The country produces 8,000 tons of high-end 30-count knitting yarn annually, with its products sold to numerous destinations worldwide—attracting the attention of a large number of domestic and foreign investors.
With the deepening cooperation under the "Belt and Road" Initiative, the textile and garment industry in Uzbekistan has been developing vigorously. The country is home to over 3,500 textile enterprises and more than 4,700 garment enterprises, most of which are private-owned. Its industrial chain covers the entire process from yarn spinning, fabric weaving, dyeing and printing to finished garment production, with products exported to markets in Central Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. Large-scale enterprises boast a complete industrial chain, and some of them have a monthly output of dyed fabrics reaching up to 150 tons—fully demonstrating the industry’s strong strength.
Recently, Allallinfo Media Group traveled to Uzbekistan to conduct in-depth exchanges with local textile and garment enterprises. During interactions, we learned that while Uzbekistan’s textile and garment industry has achieved remarkable progress in recent years, it still lags behind China in terms of intelligence, automation, and digitalization. Upon learning that the 2026(21st) Guangzhou International Textile, Clothing and Printing Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as "2026 ITCPE Guangzhou") will gather high-end industrial equipment, environmentally friendly materials, and advanced technologies, local enterprises expressed strong interest and eager anticipation.
