In addition, representatives from multiple characteristic industrial clusters in Hebei including Gaoyang, Baigou, Qinghe, Xinji and Suning, as well as several exhibitor representatives gathered together to witness the official launch of this grand textile, apparel, luggage and leather goods event rooted in North China and covering the whole nation.

One official from the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology briefed at the forum that Hebei Province is an important birthplace of China’s textile, garment, luggage and leather goods industries. Boasting profound industrial heritage, large scale and distinctive features, the province is home to 21 provincial-level characteristic industrial clusters. It has formed a complete industrial chain covering spinning and weaving, printing and dyeing, finished garment manufacturing, luggage and leather goods.
Currently, Hebei’s textile, garment, luggage and leather goods industry is in a critical transition phase, striving to resolve the structural pain point of "large scale yet low competitiveness" and move toward the mid-to-high end of the value chain. It still faces challenges including traditional business models among enterprises, heavy reliance on OEM production, low brand value, and lagging adoption of digital and intelligent equipment.
He emphasized full implementation of the Implementation Plan for the Digital Transformation of the Textile Industry jointly issued by six state authorities including the MIIT. He proposed four key upgrades: renewing market-oriented operational concepts, accelerating digital and intelligent technology adoption among SMEs, boosting brand development to shift from “Hebei Manufacturing” to “Hebei Creation”, and promoting cluster growth through shared smart manufacturing. This initiative aims to bridge supply-demand gaps, streamline industrial chain coordination, and enable precise, efficient matching between high-quality capacity and market demands.
Developed by Allallinfo Group, the North China (Shijiazhuang) Textile, Clothing, Printing, Embroidery, Luggage & Leather Goods Supply Chain Expo settles in Shijiazhuang, serving as a premium platform for the industrial transformation of Hebei’s textile, apparel, luggage and leather sectors. He advised the organizer to pursue refined planning, precise matchmaking, joint efforts and long-term vision. The expo should accurately cater to demands from 21 characteristic industrial clusters, and effectively support enterprises’ technological upgrading and brand development.
