Digging into Central-Southern Hebei Industrial Clusters | TTEXPRO North China (Shijiazhuang) team taps core momentum of northern textile, garment, printing, embroidery, luggage & leather supply chain

Recently, 2026 TEXPRO North China (Shijiazhuang) team has officially launched in-depth visits to key industrial clusters in Hebei. The first stop covers major industrial hubs in central-southern Hebei including Shijiazhuang, Xinji, Gaoyang, Baigou and Rongcheng. The team visited multiple key enterprises and industrial parks engaged in textile & garment manufacturing, printing, embroidery, luggage & leather goods and leather processing. They collected on-site feedback from front-line practitioners facetoface and experienced the vigorous dynamism of northern characteristic industrial clusters.

As the capital city of Hebei Province and a core engine for industrial upgrading during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Shijiazhuang has fully developed five industrial clusters each worth over 100 billion RMB. Technology spill-over effects from biomedicine, new-generation electronic information, advanced equipment manufacturing and other industries keep empowering the upgrading of local textile-garment, printing-embroidery, luggage and leather goods sectors. Boasting the largest China-Europe Railway Express volume in North China, Shijiazhuang International Land Port opens direct global trade channels for local enterprises in textile-garment, printingembroidery, luggage and leather goods, greatly cutting logistics costs for their overseas exports.

On the first day of the field visit, the promotion team called on two local equipment service providers with long-term presence in Hebei market: Yike Yongye and Hebei Chendi. As a highly influential comprehensive supplier of CNC cutting, engraving, spraying-printing and UV equipment in Hebei, Yike Yongye integrates sales, maintenance and after-sales services. It maintains a professional and stable sales & after-sales team, with well-distributed agency and service outlets across the whole province. Upholding the philosophy of “Powering Your Enterprise Development”, the company carefully selects a full range of cost-effective equipment to deliver greater value for clients.

Hebei Chendi Automatic Equipment Co., Ltd. is a representative enterprise specializing in printing machinery. Its general manager Mr. Huang has been engaged in this industry for more than 20 years since 1998. Beyond the R&D and manufacturing of printing machines, the company also runs its own physical printing factory. It uses its production workshop as a testing ground for equipment. All new-developed machines undergo long-term verification under realproduction conditions before being launched onto the market. It has earned wide-spread reputation across northern China with solid product performance.

Representatives of both enterprises noted that Hebei-based equipment brands have long lacked a dedicated professional exhibition platform. They look forward to leveraging TEXPRO North China (Shijiazhuang) to present cost-effective machines tailored for northern industrial scenarios directly to manufacturers in surrounding industrial clusters.

The second stop of the field visit was Gaoyang, a national core hub for textile, garment, printing and embroidery industries. Gaoyang accounts for one-third of China’s towel output — one out of every three towels on the market is produced here.

As one of Hebei’s first pilot zones for “industrial cluster digitalization plus finance”, Gaoyang has moved beyond traditional workshop-style production. Supported by digital platforms, it realizes bulk raw material procurement, capacity sharing and order collaboration, greatly cutting production and circulation costs for small-and-medium-sized textile, garment, printing and embroidery enterprises.

The visiting team toured multiple computerized embroidery factories. Workshops hummed with running machines. Many enterprises operate two-shift schedules to fulfill domestic and overseas orders. Company representatives stated that they are currently enjoying sufficient order books, with all factory equipment running at full capacity. Production tempo is expected to pick up further starting in August, and order volumes will keep rising.

As industrial upgrading gathers pace, local enterprises have seen a surging demand for intelligent embroidery machines featuring high speed, high precision and exceptional stability. The installed base of flagship embroidery machine brands in this region has climbed year after year. Numerous industry practitioners admit they have long anticipated a local professional exhibition. It would allow them to source the latest intelligent equipment, cutting-edge techniques and supporting resources all in one place right on their doorstep, cutting down costs for procurement and technical coordination.

01. Visiting Embroidery Manufacturers

Afterwards, the visiting team toured the Xiongan industrial linkage belt spanning Baigou and Rongcheng. Known as China’s Capital of Luggage & Bags, Baigou has launched streamlined administrative reforms under the "One-Stop Service for Luggage Industry" initiative to build its business environment brand titled Worry-Free Luggage Business. Thousands of luggage manufacturers and supporting enterprises here have formed a full industrial chain loop covering design & sampling, flexible production, and cross-border e-commerce delivery.

Local demand for digital printing machines, laser cutting equipment and relevant consumables keeps rising steadily, and numerous equipment brands have set up service outlets and local offices in the area. Separated only by a river, Rongcheng serves as the core carrier zone of Xiongan New Area. It focuses on future industries including the digital economy and green technology innovation. Abundant sci-tech resources and high-end talents gathered here are delivering robust technical backing for the digital transformation of surrounding traditional industries such as textile, garment, printing, embroidery, luggage and leather goods.

02.Visiting Digital Printing Factories

This industrial cluster visit allowed our promotion team to clearly recognize the robust vitality and upgrading challenges of the textile, apparel, printing, embroidery, luggage and leather industries in central and southern Hebei.

For years, North China’s relevant sectors have faced an awkward situation: though equipped with mature industries and ample production capacity, the region has lacked a large professional exhibition and trading platform. Local enterprises had to travel south for exhibitions annually, incurring high travel costs and inefficient buyer matching.

The upcoming 2026 TEXPRO North China (Shijiazhuang) is set to run October 20–22 at Shijiazhuang International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The news has received widespread positive feedback from local practitioners. Many enterprises are preparing to exhibit, hoping to connect with accurate resources via this regional platform and seize new opportunities brought by northern industrial upgrading.
