Recently, after visiting Vietnam, Bangladesh, Shandong Province, the ITCPE Team went to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for ITCPE 2024 Publicity.

    Situated within the China-ASEAN free trade area, Guangxi plays a pivotal role in CAFTA cooperation. Since the thirteenth five-year plan, several industrial parks dedicated to textile printing and dyeing have sprung up. Five national clothing production bases have been established: Yizhou District & Huanjiang County in Hechi City, Fumian District in Yulin City, Mule Town in Guiping City, and Gangnan District in Guigang City.

      The first site we visited is the Guigang Textiles and Apparel Fashion New Aera. We can perceive the bustling and hustling city with endless stream of trucks. Cobsiderable factories were erected here. The Guangxi Pingnan County Four Seasons Textiles Co., Ltd. is an enterprises with an integration of spinning and weaving, dyeing and shapesetting. The general manager, Chen Yongjin told us that with the evloving development of the industry, there will be a great number of enterprises coming from Guangdong Province choose Gangxi as their developmental base. Mr. Chen also told us that there are 16 factories have relocated here.

There are three areas here, and they are dyeing and finishing area, wool fabrics area, and knitting area. The machines-in-use rate is roughly 70-80%. "Comparing to the previous two years, the devlopment of the industrial park is moderately steady." Mr. Chen stated.

    In Da'an Town of Pingnan County, there are roughly 200 local apparel processing enterprises, mainly focusing on processing deal trade. They extended enormous support to our ITCPE invitation and they thought that the ITCPE at 20, May, 2024 can not only help them get to know the latest technology, but also assist them with more knowledge on quality equipment in the market, envisioning them with more choices.

Located just a few kilometers from Nanping, Guiping City, Lemu Town is known as " China Leisure Sportwear." The appareal industry is the traditional robust industry. It has shaped the landscape with a complete industry chain and an integration of production, supply, and marketing. It is understood that there are more than 500 enterprises concerning appaerl manufacturing and the annual output  reaches 200 million.

After exploring Guigang, we continued our journey to Yulin, Guangxi. Within this bustling city lies Fumian, not only celebrated as the "China Leisure Wear City," but also a powerhouse in casual jeans production. Incomplete statistics tell a remarkable story: Fumian processes over 5 million pairs of jeans daily, making it the source of an estimated 70% of jeans found in the market. Its denim dominance is truly impressive!

Earlier in 2016, Fumian has successfully initialized the construction of energy-saving industrial park, which creates a sound complete industry chain covering the up-, mid- and downstream of the industry including textile printing, spinning and weaving, apparel fabrics and accessories, and rinsing and boosting the upgrading and transformation of the industry. By 2021, the output value of the industry has reached 20 times the original status.

"This industrial park has been put in production since 2019. There are 60% enterprises focusing on denim washing processing. Mr. Weng Chengyi, the director of Jinfan Dyeing and Finishing Co., Ltd. told us that his company mainly prodeces fabrics of bags and luggage. It owns a factory with more than 60 looms and the annual production value could reach 150 million. Also, it can deal all the procedures from weaving, dyeing to finishing.

Navigating the current market climate is certainly challenging, as we've become heavily reliant on production volume. The lingering effects of the pandemic, coupled with regional conflicts and inflationary pressures in developed economies, have undoubtedly contributed to the recent slowdown. Optimistically, "2024 might hold brighter prospects, but predicting with certainty remains elusive."

Upon reviewing the details of ITCPE 2024, Mr. Weng commended the Chinese government's proactive stance in facilitating industry transformation and upgrading. He believes ITCPE has the potential to be a critical catalyst in this strategy, serving as a vital platform for relevant enterprises to access cutting-edge equipment and stay abreast of the latest industry trends. This information exchange and exposure to innovative technology will be pivotal for businesses navigating the evolving landscape and ensuring their sustained success.

In the meantime, Yulin Textile Printing and Dyeing Chamber of Commerce has received our invitation and we reached agreement: They well organze local renowned apparel manufacturing and textile printing enterprises to visit ITCPE 2024 and to buy desirable machines.
